KNOW HIS LOVE
Romans 5:8 says, “But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” God gave his only begotten son for us. Christ demonstrated his love for us on the cross. But the cross also serves as a reminder that Christ will, now and forever, continually pour out his love. Not only did he commit a powerful act of love then, but he also makes his love available to us now.
He doesn’t walk away from us, we walk away from him. When we decide to do it our way, follow after what feels good to the flesh but detrimental to the soul. He promised to never leave nor forsake us. Yet in our mess his hand is out stretched. He draws us with his love and kindness. Come back to him. He’s waiting on you. Rededicate your life to Christ, become a new creature allow him to make you over.
1John 4:19
We love him, because he first loved us.
