Meet the Author

April was Born and raised as a Hometown Hero in a little country place called Kountze, Texas. It took her quite a while to act the way she was raised after being sent away to live with her mother in Orange, Texas (Fruit City) at sixteen, where she found and lost herself more times than she could count. She had many near-death experiences and a life led by depression where dying seemed to be her only way out. She knew who people thought she was but never knew who God created her to be. She needed answers. Then it happened one glorious day she surrendered to Christ, and April died–to herself that is. So, that Christ may live in her. She didn't find herself, she found CHRIST!
