Luke 5:5
And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.
As the people gathered to hear the word of God. Jesus saw two ships but the fishermen were gone. They were washing their nets finished toiling for the day. So Jesus entered Simon's boat & asked him to go out a little from the land so he could teach the people out of the ship. When he was finish ministering to the people he told Simon launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a drought.
Now Simon had labored hard throughout the night without catching a single fish. He had experience in fishing and caught nothing. But he said nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net. In his obedience at the Lords word he caught so many fish his net broke. He called out to the second ship and it was filled both ships began to sink. Simon Peter fell down at Jesus knees.
There are several lessons here. Simon allowed him to use his boat. Will you allow him to use you? Will you allow Jesus to be Master of your life? We can not beat God's giving. No matter what it looks like or how much experience you have or may not have. Maybe you're looking for a different outcome, try it the Lords way. If the Lord says yes, if the Lord says do it, if he says go. Trust him. Faith requires trust. Believing if Jesus said it then it will happen. Be a willing vessel and trust the outcome in his hands. He qualifies those he sends and promised to be there with you.
Trust Him.
