Psalm 46:10
Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.
Most of this passage speaks of God but this 10th verse God SPEAKS. "Be still and know that I am God, I will be exalted among the people and the world. Everyone will know who he is and that you are his. We can stop fighting and be reminded the Lord our God that goes before us fights for us.
I Am That I Am. He is still in control. Nothing happens that did not go through him or without him.
He is omniscient (all-knowing), omnipresent (present everywhere), omnipotent (all-powerful), holy, sovereign & faithful. Nothing gets passed him. Satan has to ask permission to try you. This may be your testing season. Count it all joy when you fall into divers temptation. Trust in him, the battle is already won.
When life gets overwhelming and busyness takes over, remember Psalm 46:1, “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.” Run to Him, lay down your weapons and fall into His arms. In our weakness is strength is made perfect. Acknowledge that He is God and that He is exalted in the earth.
Be still and know that He is God.
