Who’s Directing Your Path

Proverbs 3:5-7

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

With all your heart, no doubt in him, no doubt in the power of his might. Complete trust is what we must have knowing that if we seek his guidance he will lead us. Do you believe the scriptures or just read them without application? The choice is still yours but he will direct you. If he says right and you choose to go left because it seems right to you, where is the trust in that?

But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.” God sent the Holy Ghost in Jesus name to lead you to all TRUTH. If you ask if you acknowledge him he will answer & lead you to what is best according to the will of the father.

This is where we get lost it is not according to what we want or what we think. Lean not to your own understanding. It may not make sense to you but it makes sense to God. He said this is my beloved son hear him. It may not make sense to you to go through the son but he is the only way to the father. John 14:6 “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”

I've never made good decisions whatever I chose hurt in the end, me or someone else. I got what I wanted and realized it definitely wasn't what I needed. My choice came with consequences with lasting affects. I choose the wrong lane at a red light.. lol The best choice I ever made was allowing Christ to lead me the rest of the way.

In all our ways not some but all acknowledge him. Confess that he is the son of God who died for your sins and mine. Allow him to lead you, accept what he says, and recognize that it is in him we live, and move, and have our being. Who's directing your path?
