Psalm 18:2
2 The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.
We all seek shelter at one time or another. It may be in the comfort of your own home. In the arms of a spouse or even just sitting in our car for hours on end at the super market parking lot. But there are times we need shelter from the raging of life. We reach our mental, emotional and spiritual capacity to handle it on our own. May even seek professional help in therapy, doctors or even medication. Which may help but does not completely heal.
What we should do first we do as a last resort go to God in prayer. Over and over Jesus Christ promises his help and grace to those who call on him in time of need. No matter the problem, Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrew 4:16
Even when it seems all is lost, there is no end or a way out. Our mind is racing. Have faith in Jesus lay your cares at his feet for he cares for you. He will transform your test into a testimony. Come unto me all ye that labor and are heavy- laden and I will give unto you rest. That peace that you desire is Yeshua the Christ. He is the shelter from the storms of life.
